Exceeding Stats

Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: July 24, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Exceeding Stats platform operated by TUBBARD DEVELOPMENT LLC d/b/a EXCEEDING SPORTS.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Lawful and Authorized Use

You may use the Service only for lawful sports, team, school, organizational, reporting, scoring, statistical, or related purposes.

You must have authority to:

  • Create or claim an Organization account.
  • Invite users.
  • Enter information.
  • Use team names and logos.
  • Enter information about players or other individuals.
  • Publish information publicly.
  • Export or share Organization Content.

You may not impersonate a school, team, league, administrator, coach, player, official, media organization, or other person.

2. Prohibited Personal Information

You may not enter or upload sensitive information concerning a player, student, or minor unless expressly authorized in writing by Exceeding Sports.

Prohibited information includes:

  • Social Security numbers.
  • Government identification numbers.
  • Financial information.
  • Medical or health records.
  • Disability information unrelated to an approved feature.
  • Disciplinary records.
  • Immigration information.
  • Full dates of birth.
  • Home addresses.
  • Personal telephone numbers.
  • Personal email addresses.
  • Account passwords.
  • Precise geolocation.
  • Biometric identifiers.
  • Information about abuse, neglect, or family court proceedings.

Do not use free-text fields to avoid these restrictions.

3. Privacy and Student Information

You may not:

  • Enter information you lack authority or consent to use.
  • Ignore a valid privacy, publication, or directory-information opt-out.
  • Publish nonpublic student information.
  • Use student information for targeted advertising.
  • Sell student information.
  • Build commercial profiles about student-athletes.
  • Use Organization Content for recruiting, solicitation, or marketing unrelated to the Organization’s authorized activities.
  • Use information to harass, intimidate, embarrass, exploit, or endanger a minor.
  • Attempt to identify a person from information that has been de-identified.

4. Harmful Conduct

You may not use the Service to:

  • Threaten or harass another person.
  • Encourage violence or self-harm.
  • Exploit or sexualize minors.
  • Facilitate stalking.
  • Publish malicious or knowingly false allegations.
  • Discriminate unlawfully.
  • Promote illegal activity.
  • Facilitate fraud.
  • Distribute obscene or unlawful material.
  • Violate another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.

5. Accuracy and Integrity

You may not knowingly:

  • Falsify scores or statistics.
  • Attribute performance to the wrong player.
  • Alter records to mislead users.
  • Misrepresent unofficial information as official.
  • Create fake teams, games, players, or affiliations.
  • Manipulate public pages for fraudulent, deceptive, gambling, or improper recruiting purposes.

Good-faith mistakes are not policy violations, but users must correct material inaccuracies promptly after becoming aware of them.

6. Account and Access Abuse

You may not:

  • Access another person’s account without authorization.
  • Access another Organization’s nonpublic information.
  • Share credentials to bypass user limits or accountability.
  • Circumvent role or permission controls.
  • Use automated methods to create accounts.
  • Attempt to discover another user’s password or authentication token.
  • Continue accessing an account after authorization has ended.
  • Misrepresent your age, identity, or authority.

7. Security and Service Interference

You may not:

  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission.
  • Circumvent authentication or security controls.
  • Introduce malware, ransomware, spyware, or harmful code.
  • Launch denial-of-service attacks.
  • Overload or disrupt the Service.
  • Abuse application programming interfaces.
  • Interfere with logging or security monitoring.
  • Attempt to access source code or nonpublic systems.
  • Use the Service to attack another system.
  • Exploit a security issue after discovering it.

Good-faith security reports should be sent to [LEGAL@EXCEEDINGSPORTS.COM]. Do not publicly disclose a suspected vulnerability before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate it.

8. Scraping and Automated Use

Unless we provide written permission or an approved technical interface, you may not:

  • Scrape or crawl the Service.
  • Systematically copy public statistics or pages.
  • Use bots to access or submit information.
  • Harvest names, email addresses, or other information.
  • Build a competing database or product from Service content.
  • Use Service content to train a machine-learning model.
  • Circumvent rate limits or access restrictions.

Normal use by search engines in accordance with our technical instructions is not prohibited.

9. Spam and Commercial Misuse

You may not use the Service to:

  • Send spam.
  • Send unsolicited marketing.
  • Harvest contact information.
  • Advertise products unrelated to authorized Organization activities.
  • Resell account access.
  • Operate an unauthorized betting or gambling service.
  • Collect information for data-broker activities.
  • Sell or license player or student information.

10. Intellectual-Property Misuse

You may not upload or publish material that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.

You must have permission to use Organization names, team logos, photographs, and other protected content.

11. Public Scoreboard and Page Conduct

Public pages may not be used to:

  • Display private messages.
  • Identify an individual who has a valid publication restriction.
  • Publish sensitive personal information.
  • Harass officials, coaches, players, families, or opponents.
  • Display deceptive sponsorships or endorsements.
  • Publish content unrelated to legitimate sports or Organization activity.
  • Create a false impression that Exceeding Sports officially verifies or endorses the information.

12. Reporting Violations

Report suspected misuse to:

Privacy: [LEGAL@EXCEEDINGSPORTS.COM]

Include the relevant page, Organization, account, and a description of the concern.

Do not include additional sensitive information unless necessary.

13. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • Request additional information.
  • Warn a user or Organization.
  • Remove or restrict content.
  • Disable public pages.
  • Reset credentials.
  • Restrict permissions.
  • Suspend an account.
  • Terminate an account.
  • Preserve evidence.
  • Notify the controlling Organization.
  • Notify affected individuals.
  • Contact law enforcement when legally required or reasonably necessary to address a serious threat or unlawful activity.

When practical, we will consider the nature, severity, history, and impact of the conduct before taking action.

We may take immediate action where conduct creates an urgent security, privacy, safety, or legal risk.

14. Appeals

A user or Organization may request review of an enforcement decision by contacting [LEGAL@EXCEEDINGSPORTS.COM] and providing relevant information.

We are not required to restore content or access when doing so would violate law, another person’s rights, or our security obligations.

15. Changes

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy. Material changes will be communicated as described in our Terms of Service.
